Call For Scientific Papers

During MSE2019 several sessions, panels and stimulating forums will welcome multinational EU representatives of the Security Stakeholders community including front-line practitioners, law enforcement agencies, well distinguished members of the academia, delegates of EU Member-States and National governments, representatives of the Industry and SMEs.

Academics and researchers from the above-mentioned disciplines, as well as other related areas in order to scientifically contribute to the MSE2019 conference, which will take place in October 29th-31th, 2019 in Heraklion, Crete, Greece, to submit their relevant contribution to the topics mentioned here next and according to the guidelines that follow.

4. Disaster Resilience  
5. Fight against Crime & Terrorism 
6. Cyber and Digital Security

Selected papers will be published in the Special Issue Technology Advances and Support for Security Practitioners of the Security Informatics and Law Enforcement.

September 27th 2019 —abstract submission deadline 
October 10th 2019 — notification of acceptance 

Conference dates: 
October 29th – 31th 2019

Post-conference dates: (for the Book Edition) 
November 30th December 15th 2019  — camera-ready paper submission

December 20th 2019 — paper acceptance notification

All manuscripts/papers will undergo blind peer review. An Advisory Panel, comprised of academics and practitioners, will review all submissions for their suitability to be published in a special issue of Springer editions. 
The abstract submission (27/9/2019) should be no more than 20 lines, authors’ details and headers included. This also includes non-visible characters such as spaces as well as punctuation. 
The full paper should not exceed 12 pages with one-inch margins, including tables, figures, and references (or 5,000 words total). The page limit is a strict guideline in order to allow for a number of high-quality manuscripts to be included in the Special Issue “Technology Advances and Support for Security Practitioners” of the Springer’s Informatics & Security Series.
